Curvy Design Market

The Curvy Design Market seeks to bring independent designer fashion together with a plus-size audience.

It is a boutique-style market, usually held in church or community halls in and around Melbourne, Victoria. Due to popular demand, we are expanding into regional and interstate areas later in 2019.

This highly enjoyable shopping experience is for women who wear size 14+, so gather some girlfriends and come and try some amazing fashion that actually fits. We only seek out and attract designers who we think are exciting, unique and above all, size-inclusive. For more info about our designers check out their page.

We always like to recommend a local cafe if we don’t have coffee available on-site & we’re delighted to report our Canberra market has a cafe & bar just opposite which has been recommended to us by a couple of locals. Feel free to grab a coffee (or one of their delicious turmeric lattes) from Gryphons Caffe Bar before you join us, or stop there for a bite to eat to refuel after a strenuous morning shopping up a storm 😁

Joolz Fashion is one of our fabulous labels who will be at both our Canberra market on Sat 23 November, and Wodonga on Sun 24 November:
"One of the reasons I started @joolzfashion five years ago was born from the frustration of buying pretty dresses that never fitted correctly.
I was so tired of buying a dress and then having to alter it to fit me properly - because for it to fit over my hips I would always have to buy it two sizes bigger than my bust, which meant always dealing with ill-fitting, gaping tops, designed by someone who clearly didn't understand my body. Because of these experiences, I design dresses that always have extra generous room for hips so you won’t have to deal with a bust that gapes everywhere. When you buy one of my dresses, go with your shirt size, not your skirt size. Plus, I love pockets, so I stick them in almost every dress. See? Look at these!”
